Textile Art

Entirely handmade and historically inspired using natural materials. An homage to Women’s Historical Material Culture circa. 1920s-1930s.

Silk Flapper Buttons, Powder Puff Wands, Hand Stitched Silk Novelty Bralettes, Hand Smocked Blouses, and More~

“I greatly admire and see the value in handmade items that show human touch: evidence of hand sewing in antique clothing with knots and uneven stitches, the wear and tear of items and clothing that were used and mended, the handheld items that were used and loved by women, such as antique dolls, sewing notions, etc. I also adore natural textiles such as silk, cotton, wool, and linen for their texture, feel, sustainability, and their use throughout human history.
My mission is to continue the legacy of women's handmade items (primarily using natural materials) and to help preserve historical items used and made by women of the past by giving them new homes.”
