The elastic waistband of this piece has deteriorated and been replaced with a 100% silk pink ribbon tie that works like a drawstring. Some mending was required near the waistband and a small patch was made out of a piece of delicate antique French cotton lace.
Some gray dots on the back that also transferred onto the front. Some brown staining near the ribbon work flower. Overall, in great antique (100+ year old) condition. A beautiful piece.
